I'm not sure when I began cropping photos so that the image ended up having a distinct left and right half. It certainly wasn't because of the visual guidance in the camera which actually frames images in a 3 by 3 grid but I do like the results. In some of them you might notice that although the image is split in half, one half looks significantly wider than the other. The last image of the sky is through a mullion-less window.
